Knocking the boots but not without your socks....

I've been procrastinating writing about my fab Vancouver trip and all kinds of fantastic things to blog about but this needs to be blogged! So as I am reading the newspaper from Hali-town on the web as I sometimes do (one must keep informed on the happenings of little Hali even if we can't stand to live there at the current time!). As it turns out we Atlantic Canadians (although I haven't lived there in years I am hardcore through and through) like to wear our socks whilst getting it on more then the rest of the country!

Sex in Socks?

It should knock your socks off.

But apparently not in Atlantic Canada.

According to a recent national survey, people here on the East Coast are more likely than anyone else in the country to have sex with their socks on.
"On average, it was 31 per cent across the country, but in Atlantic Canada it was 41 per cent," said Linda Whitehead of McGregor Socks, which commissioned the poll.

How much do I love it! I just wanted to state that most certainly I have had mind blowing sex with East Coast Boys and I most certainly was not wearing socks! I don't know that I could even had remembered my name at that time ! My favorite mistake! Just thought this little piece of news from our fair Herald needed a little bit more light shed on it! And the East Coasters needed a little shout out for being great lovers! Always use protection but a tube sock is probably not your best choice.

Is you Dog CARDA certified?

So on my very busy day at work today...Yeah Right!!, I was looking up some wintery activities as I really have been avoiding my dear friend the snow like the plague! Anyways among many lovely things to do I discovered these poochies! What are CARDA Dogs you ask? Is this some form of Hypoallergenitic Dog? They are the Canadian Avalanche Rescue Dog Association. The are specially trained dogs who are search and rescue ready to find people buried under the snow in the event of an avalanche. I didn't even consider avalanches when I thought about coming here but I love idea that these loveable dogs are the key part to the rescue operation. You can take a specialist course and then you and your dog are on call in case of trouble. Well I do have my heart set on a lovely Pomeranian, someday I think I may just have to consider a larger dog so I can volunteer for avalanche rescue. So if your ever(hope you never are but) buried under the snow in a horrible avalanche don't worry I'll be there to save you..........Okay you can stop screaming now! Plus did I mention that guy in the photo is kind of cute!
